Exciting news! Emmy & Ian’s wedding was featured on Style My Pretty yesterday! Check out the stationery I created for their special day and find more details about the wedding both on Style Me Pretty and Outstanding Occasions’ blog.
First off, how gorgeous is Emmy?!? I had so much fun working with her on her wedding stationery for both her wedding invitations as well as her day-of paper products. To begin, I designed a grey and ivory letterpress invitation suite that set the tone for their special day by focusing on the Arizona landscape. The invitation suite was finished off with a custom liner with their names, filled with bold succulent graphics and then inserted into a blush outer envelope. Soft, elegant, yet modern with a punch of color.
Upon arriving at the ceremony, the guests were greeted with custom programs that also served as fans to help fight off the hot summer sun. Following the ceremony, guests found their seating assignments by way of a traditional oversized mirror which included lace and ribbon detailing that each customized card was clipped to. The back color layer of each escort card indicated each guest’s meal choice.
After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour where they could enjoy the signature drink, a Prickly Pear Margarita, and a customized cornhole game. The artwork for the cornhole game was directly pulled from the couple’s invitation suite. LOVE.
Upon entering the ceremony, which took place at El Chorro Lodge, guests found an ivory napkin with a custom menu slipped inside. The napkin was then finished off with a champagne satin bow. (Yes, I’m officially a master at tying bows.)
When the night came to an end, Emmy and Ian gifted their guests a sweet send off by sending each one home with their favorite lemon cake cookies from Arcadia Farms Cafe. (If you haven’t tried them, go get one now. YUM-O!) The cookies were packaged in adorable patterns bags that were finished off with a custom sticker.
All the gorgeous photos are by Diana Elizabeth Photography and this absolutely stunning wedding came to life by Rachel at Outstanding Occasions. High five to both of you. Seriously.
