Coffee Dry Rub Recipe

It’s no secret that we #girlbosses need our coffee in the morning. Death Before Decaf, right? We even reach for a second or even a third cup in a day when we are feeling extra creative or just need a boost to handle our business. But who’s to say that coffee is just for drinking? Or can’t even be enjoyed over, say, dinner? Today I am showing you how to throw together the most sinful coffee dry rub that pairs perfectly with steak. Simply cover the steaks in the coffee rub and allow to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before grilling to your desired doneness (I personally prefer medium myself). While the brown sugar caramelizes, creating a sweet and crisp level to the steak, the coffee packs a punch of flavor. A lovely combination if I do say so myself!  Coffee Dry Rub Ingredients: 3 tbsp. ground coffee 3 … Read More

DIY Christmas Potpourri

Let’s be honest here for a moment. By the time us girls bust our butts at the office all day, then kick our butts at the gym, make dinner at home to keep those butts slim, we just want to take those butts and park them on the couch and watch New Girl re-runs, amIright?! But (different kind of but/t), somehow we still have to find time to clean the house and make it smell like we don’t have a 6 month old puppy who just ran his mud-covered paws through the house for the 5th time this week (just me?). Plus, it’s Christmas time, and what gets you in the holiday spirit more than the classic scent of pine, orange, and cinnamon? What if I told you that you could have that scent in your very own home on the reg? Toss a few ingredients into a pot, cover with water, and simmer … Read More
