Exciting! idieh design is featured today on On To Baby, a blog of all things lovely for babies and moms. The feature is of the surprise baby shower I conceptualized, designed, and orchestrated for my sister, Heather, of Outstanding Occasions. It was truly a labor of love and so many friendors contributed to make it an awesome success. And, let’s be honest, it’s never easy planning a SURPRISE celebration for your sister, a wedding planner who plans events daily like it’s her job…oh wait, it is. Um, major pressure! See more photos of the baby shower here. In the end, the surprise was a huge success and Heather had NO IDEA of the celebration. London even had to deliver a few tissues her way to dry her happy tears as Heather thought we were going to the movies for a girls’ day. We even made sure she was dressed accordingly by telling her … Read More

new website | graphic design studio

Extra, extra, read all about it! Last week idieh design officially launched our brand spankin’ new website! Designing a 100% customized website to better showcase idieh design’s capabilities, along with my true personality, has been on my list for longer than I care to mention. But, don’t they say every journey begins with a single step? Well, I took my single [website] step last December, and, I must say, it was quite the journey. So, after many edits, refinements, tweaks (and, ironically, no tears) it blossomed into what you see today. Let’s just say my heart is smiling from one atrium to the next. (Did I just type that?!) Anyway… Even though I have been designing for over 6+ years (not including all those internships in college), I truly believe, up to this point in my career, that this website is the project most meaningful and fulfilling to me. I literally put my whole … Read More

s’mores bar | phoenix bride and groom

Heidi Moore • studio wedding

The ladies over at Outstanding Occasions asked if I would like to create the paper products for this super fun dessert bar. And, not just any dessert bar…a s’mores bar! I’m not a huge chocolate fan (yes, you heard me right, I don’t LOVE chocolate) but when I saw they were using Peanut Butter Reece’s Cups as an option to pair with gooey marshmallows, I was sold! (Combining peanut butter with anything makes it better, no?) The idea behind the bar was the four-step process you must complete before you get to enjoy your scrumptious s’more. 1. Grab Graham Cracker 2. Add Chocolate 3. Poke Marshmallow 4. Roast it & Toast it The yummy dessert bar idea and photos were featured in the Winter/Spring 2012 issue of Phoenix Bride & Groom Magazine, entitled “Melt My Heart.” idieh design created the signage for each station, included small tags to decorate the … Read More

I can’t even contain my excitement to share with you this modern wedding inspiration shoot recently featured on Junebug Weddings! Not only was this shoot modern, funky, and sophisticated (a.k.a. definitely our style!), but it was so much fun teaming up with the following creatives to make this shoot such a success: Design & Execution: Outstanding Occasions Photography: Melissa Jill Photography Styling: AVE Styles Florist: Camelback Flowershop Venue: W Scottsdale Make-up: Bliss Spa Hair: Organic Hair Lounge Jewelry: emma Quist (we created emma Quist’s logo, too!) Cakes: Classic Cakes & Confections And who can have a shoot without an inspired story behind it? This “wedding” was conceptualized based on the following details: Tori, an interior designer and fashionista from LA, married Tyson, a quirky, Arizona guy who grew up riding horses. Through the use of a black, white & grey color palette, combined with a splash of hot pink, masculine … Read More

Awesome news! idieh design is featured in the latest issue of Arizona Bride! We chose to showcase a rehearsal dinner invitation created for Lindsey & Dan, a couple who wished for the invite to reflect the Western style of their rehearsal dinner, complete with country dance lessons! This particular design mixes custom patterns & various fonts, paired with a bold combination of tangerine and red. The outer envelope is finished off with a custom label. To see other pieces from the stationery suite, check out the gorgeous photos of the rehearsal dinner captured by Melissa Jill.

Thank you to all who participated in the “name that color” contest, helping to name the new colors of the idieh design brand. Without further ado, it is my pleasure to introduce the new idieh design brand colors! Congratulations to Mary Lynn of sugarlush, who will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card for her submission of “Cosmo Coral.” And, congratulations to Stephanie of LETTERS and LISTS, who will receive a $10 Starbucks gift card, as TWO of her entries were chosen, “Sea Aura” and “English Cloud.” Thank you, Mary Lynn & Stephanie, for your awesome submissions. name that color contest

Heidi Moore • branding studio

As you probably already know, idieh design underwent a rebrand a few months back. As I’ve been so excited for the new brand and have had an awesome time implementing it, whenever I need to describe the colors of the brand, I find myself using different descriptions every time.  idieh design’s brand colors are unique and I can’t seem to pinpoint how best to describe their character. Therefore, I decided, why not have a contest?! Objective: to find a fun & unique name to describe each color of the idieh design brand (shown above). If your color name is chosen for one of the brand colors, you will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card. (That means you have a chance to win THREE gift cards!) You can offer up as many names as you see fit. The more creative, the better. Just leave your suggestions below! (Or, if you prefer … Read More

introducing the new and improved…

Heidi Moore • branding studio

I am so excited to be re-introducing my company and it’s new look to the world today! Branding your company is such a tricky endeavor, and it sometimes (notice I said, sometimes, not every 3 months) needs to evolve, as you as a person are (hopefully) evolving. For me, from the day I started my business to today, I have really come to discover more and more about who I am, what I want, and how I need to get there.  I felt like my company needed to reflect those things as I changed and grew, and so this rejuvination of idieh design is very exciting for me! Recently, I made the decision to focus more of my time on idieh design, therefore scaling back in some other areas of my life to really make the direction of where I’m going to the needs of my idieh clients and its … Read More
