They’re going to the chapel and they’re gonna get married! Nicole and Andres are an old school romance with a sweet side and while designing their wedding stationery suite I knew there would be an element of both in the designs. The traditional style of delicate gold embellishments complimented the handwritten scripts perfectly. Not to mention, the wedding day stationery fit like a glove among the soft pink and white roses throughout the ceremony and reception. A perfect balance of romance and tradition were a part of the soft details within the wedding stationery. The timeless use of romantic gold captured the spirit of Nicole and Andres love story as it is one that will definitely see the Golden Anniversary….in about 50 years. The escort cards placed among the gardens of the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix brought such a natural feel to the traditional wedding. That, and the sweetly placed … Read More

When you have a love story as unique as Ciana and Shaun’s, finding ways to incorporate your love story into your wedding theme, are not only easy, it’s fun! This lovely couple sought to travel the world and when it came time for the big day, they wanted to bring a little piece of their travels to each of their guests. How cool is that? Floral Lavender Inspired Wedding Stationery | Phoenix, Ariz.
For Westin & Kirsten’s floral lavender inspired wedding stationery, I loved creating pieces with patterns and texture. This set included escort card display “tags,” menus and table numbers. How gorgeous is their escort card display? These escort tags were the perfect compliment to the floral buckets courtesy of Sarah’s Garden. The tags allowed guests to find their table number without over crowding the display. I also used the dotted edged pattern on both the tags and the menus. For the menus, I changed up the pattern using a circle instead of a hexagon, but carried over the dotted pattern and similar fonts. The size of the menus also allowed them to really make a statement on the tables, almost resembling glamorous placemats. One of my favorite materials to work with is copper. I love the way you can stamp copper into exactly what you want, while keeping the character of … Read More

Desert Floral Wedding Stationery | Phoenix, Ariz.
Have you ever stopped to consider how the Arizona desert is so intentionally intricate, yet seemingly simple? Isn’t that exactly how marriage is, too? Marriage brings together two complicated yet simple individuals. Ya, think on that metaphor for a second. This was exactly what I was picturing for Becca & Jeremy’s desert floral wedding stationery. I love that the magic of the desert combines soft peaches and rose colored florals with the greenery of succulents and cacti native to Arizona. This created the perfect combination for Becca & Jeremy’s stationery suite, starting with their invitations. It’s the absolute best when I get to see an entire stationery suite through from beginning to end. With each piece of Becca & Jeremy’s stationery, I got to bring out a different aspect of the gorgeous landscape backdrop of their El Chorro ceremony and reception. Doesn’t this soft brown with pops of coral for … Read More

Gatsby Inspired Wedding Stationery // Phoenix, Arizona
I love when weddings are not only a display of the bride & groom’s love for each other, but also a decadent experience for the guests. Especially, when that experience feels like a 1920s Gatsby-esque speakeasy! Every aspect of Linas & Cara’s old hollywood, Gatsby inspired wedding was soft and sweet, yet strong and confident. For their invitation suite, I used neutral colors with Frank Lloyd Wright inspired patterns as the ceremony and reception were at the Arizona Biltmore, a Wright designed hotel. These pocket programs were the perfect way for Linas & Cara to let their guests know about the important people and pieces of their ceremony. I used the same Wright-inspired pattern from the invitations for the programs, and again later on the escort cards. For their menus, I continued the Wright-inspired architectural patterns, mixed with a balance of romantic and modern text. I absolutely loved the patterns … Read More
New Year’s Eve Wedding Stationery // Phoenix, Arizona
You know what I love about weddings in art museums? Okay, I’ll tell you. I love that there is this immense opportunity to be creative. When you think about it, art is all about creating. Art museums bring to life the vision dancing around in the artist’s mind (for me it would be a portrait of Usher). Even better, a wedding in an art museum allows the couple to create the environment they’ve always dreamed of for their big day. The blank canvas allows for unending creativity. For Leah & Josh’s New Yea’s Eve bash, they wanted their guests to envision the confetti falling at midnight, from the minute they opened their save-the-dates through every piece of their wedding stationery. We used a black, silver, and purple color palette to create the confetti yet classy vibe of a New Year’s soiree. (When you opened the save the dates, real confetti … Read More
Saskia & Mike’s Earthy Modern Stationery // Phoenix, Arizona
A while back, I shared the exciting news that Saskia & Mike’s art museum wedding was shared on the Knot! Ooh I just love when a couple comes to me with out of the box ideas for their modern stationery. With earthy vibes and green and orange tones, I was pumped to start creating. And can we just stop for a second and stare at the gorgeous work of art that was Saskia’s dress? I mean, she looks like a garden princess with that texture and those florals from Butterfly Petals. She was definitely the most stunning work of art at the museum that night. For the invitation suite, Saskia & Mike wanted to let their playful sides shine through so we utilized grays and oranges with sharp triangular shapes to border the invitation. For the save the dates, just tell me, who doesn’t love seeing little pups (especially when today is National Dog Day!)?! … Read More
Irish Garden Inspired Stationery // Phoenix, Arizona
Oh, I feel like I’m in an Irish dream! After Kathleen & Aaron’s Ireland engagement session with world-travelers Amy & Jordan Photography, I was psyched to design their Irish garden inspired stationery. This set called for a combination of pastel purples mixed with silvers and grays that were then paired with organic roses and an overlapping square pattern that will make you feel like you’ve gone to Ireland, with all intentions of staying forever! The wedding invitation utilized romantic fonts surrounded by open, white space. Added interest came with the back of the invite which pulled inspiration from the couple’s linens (La Tavola Fine Linen) and integrated a purple and white interlocking pattern. That pattern was then carried throughout such items as their program below. I mean, how flawlessly does this wedding program blend in with its surroundings?! I always love creating fun “extras” for my couples (insert hangover kits) and … Read More
